An Enthusiasm That Found Me
There's a particular kind of curiosity that comes from direct contact with the natural world. It's not the sustainability you read about in headlines or feel obligated to care about - it's the kind that arrives on its own, unprompted, because you've actually spent time paying attention. That's how it happened for me. Working with nature didn't just teach me facts; it built a genuine, self-motivated enthusiasm to understand how I might coexist with the natural world.
Sometimes, Just Feeling Closer Is Enough
Not every step toward sustainability needs to be a grand gesture or a measurable outcome. Noticing, appreciating being present with nature is enough. That closeness is its own kind of value. It's what keeps my curiosity alive.
Following her footsteps
My perception, preoccipations, and general enthusiasm and curiosity goes back to mm. Instilling in me back to mum. The fundamental values she passed down, an appreciation for the natural world, laid the groundwork long before I understood it. Sustainability, for me, isn't just an idea I adopted; it's something I inherited and am still growing into.
Still Learning
Here is to a future of noticing, learning and finding ways to celebrate the magnificence.
