About Eco-printing

Eco-printing is a direct transfer printing process. Fresh foliage is arranged directly onto silk, bundled tightly and steamed for hours. The plants release their own tannins and colour, leaving their shape, veins and memory behind. The result is soft and permanent, but never identical shaped by the season, weather, and the country it was gathered from.
